Store Closing

Effective June 12, 2026

We are no longer accepting donations

effective immediately.

This is to confirm that effective June 12, 2026, The Salvation Army will be ceasing operations of its Bracebridge Thrift Store and will welcome shoppers and donations at its Gravenhurst Thrift Store located a short 15 minutes away.  Effective immediately, the Bracebridge Thrift Store will no longer be accepting donations of product.

Following a careful operational review, The Salvation Army made the difficult decision to close its Thrift Store operation as it was determined that long-term financial sustainability of the store is no longer viable, particularly given the presence of several other gently used clothing and houseware resale shops operating within the community.

Bracebridge Salvation Army Thrift Store management and staff are grateful for the support of donors and shoppers throughout the many years the store was in operation.

The Salvation Army remains committed to the community of Bracebridge as it continues to provide transformational support through its Church, Community Services and Food Bank located at 456 Manitoba Street.

As The Salvation Army’s mission continues in Bracebridge we stay steadfast in our commitment to giving hope, practical support, and compassionate care to individuals and families in Bracebridge and throughout the South Muskoka’s.
